Filtration

A wide range of vacuum and pressure filters are employed in industrial filtration processes, each designed to meet specific operational requirements. Common types include drum filters, belt filters, pan filters, disc filters, and various designs of filter presses.

An important strategy in the PE&C approach for optimizing filter performance involves reviewing and benchmarking key filter parameters through pilot or laboratory testing, then providing recommendations—usually aimed at increasing capacity, enhancing cake washing efficiency, and lowering cake moisture. This process includes, but is not limited to, the following steps:

  • Optimization of key operating parameters, including cake thickness and cycle duration
  • Enhancement of cake wash water usage efficiency and selection of appropriate cake washing methods
  • Select suitable filter media
  • Implementation of effective filter cloth regeneration procedures

We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you in optimising your equipment’s performance and addressing your strategic objectives. PE&C is committed to developing customised solutions that align with your requirements and contribute to your organisation’s sustained success.
